What is Khanapara Teer?

Khanapara Teer is one of the oldest and most followed traditional archery games in Northeast India, played daily in Meghalaya for generations. The game is legally regulated in Meghalaya under the state’s Amusements and Betting Tax Act, and is organized by licensed archery clubs at Themmarwet, near East Khanapara in the Ri-Bhoi district.

While Khanapara Teer is officially conducted and regulated only in Meghalaya, its popularity has spread informally to neighbouring Assam, Tripura, and Arunachal Pradesh, where thousands of people check the Khanapara result every day to see if their number has come up.

How is the Khanapara Teer Result Decided?

Unlike a machine-drawn lottery, Khanapara Teer results come from real archery. Licensed archers shoot a large number of arrows — often around a thousand — at a target within a fixed time window. Once shooting stops, officials count exactly how many arrows struck the target.

Example
If 1,000 arrows are shot and 540 hit the target, only the last two digits — “40” — become the declared result for that round.

Players choose a two-digit number in advance, based on their own judgment or a mix of common practices (covered later on this page). If their number matches the final count, they receive a payout — typically 70 to 80 times their original stake.

Khanapara Morning Teer Result

For many regular players, the day starts before the main afternoon game — with the Khanapara Morning session. It follows the same archery format, and some players like to note the morning numbers simply out of habit or curiosity before the afternoon draw, though there’s no proven link between the two.

Khanapara Night Teer Result

The Night session is the last Khanapara draw of the day, giving players one final round after the evening’s main game and other markets have closed. Many people check this result after finishing work, making it one of the more actively followed sessions of the day.

Common Number-Picking Practices Among Players

Khanapara Teer is fundamentally a game of chance — the final arrow count can’t be predicted in advance. That said, over the years, regular players have developed a few informal habits around picking numbers. We’re sharing them here as cultural context, not as methods that improve your odds.

1. Reviewing Past Results
Some players look at recently frequent (“hot”) or long-absent (“cold”) numbers before choosing their own — though each draw is independent, and past results have no real bearing on the next one.
2. Simple Number Combinations
Others combine yesterday’s F/R and S/R numbers, or add the date to a past result, as a personal way to arrive at a number for the day. It’s a habit, not a calculation with any real predictive value.
3. Dream-Based Numbers
In local folk tradition, certain dream symbols are informally associated with specific numbers. This comes from cultural belief passed down among players, not any tested system.

⚠️ None of these practices influence the actual archery outcome. Please play only with money you’re comfortable losing, and treat the game as entertainment, not income.

How to Participate in Khanapara Teer (Offline)

1
You must be 18 or older and a resident of Meghalaya, where the game is legally regulated under state law.
2
Visit a licensed Teer counter in your area — only licensed bookmakers are legally authorized to accept bets.
3
Tell the counter your chosen number, the round (F/R or S/R) you want to play, and pay your stake amount.
4
Keep your receipt safe — it’s your only proof of the bet and is required to claim any prize.
5
Once the result is declared, check whether your number matches. If it does, return to the same counter with your receipt to claim your prize.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why hasn’t today’s Khanapara result been updated yet?
Draw times can shift slightly day to day depending on how long the archery round takes to complete. If you’re checking before the scheduled window, simply check back a little later.
What’s the difference between F/R and S/R?
F/R (First Round) is the earlier draw of the day; S/R (Second Round) follows about an hour later. They come from two separate archery rounds — one result has no bearing on the other.
Are the Morning, Main, and Night results connected?
No. Each session is a completely separate archery round with its own independent outcome, even though some players informally compare numbers across sessions.
My number didn’t match — what happens now?
That round is closed and the stake isn’t refunded. There’s always a next round — play only with amounts you’re genuinely comfortable losing.
Where do I claim my prize if I win?
Go back to the same licensed counter where you placed your bet, and bring your receipt. This site shows results only — we don’t handle bets, tickets, or payouts of any kind.
